Acton Controls, Inc. has developed and deployed state of the art solar-powered camera systems that are mounted on trailers for portability and rapid deployment. Our trailers are designed and manufactured to meet U.S. DOT standards. We are a licensed NHTSA trailer manufacturer #23541.

Each system is tailor designed to meet or exceed the average power and autonomy required for the customer’s application for at least 5 years. Starting with average and maximum load, our calculations take into account static latitude, minimum average hourly solar exposure, panel tilt angle, and solar panel and battery specifications. Included is panel and battery degradation over time, depth of discharge, etc. This is done to assure the customer will not experience any outages or failures during the life of the system.
